Skinny Cinnamon Baked Pears


  • 3 whole pears (large) *any type of pear(s) will work!* 

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/4 cup organic maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almond, pecans, or walnuts)

  • 1/2 cup raw, gluten free oats (I order these from amazon!) *affiliate link*


  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and non-stick spray.

  3. Wash pears, then slice in half, using melon scoop to “spoon out” seeds and to create a 1/4 inch “hole” for filling.

  4. Line pears on baking sheet and set aside.

  5. In a medium sized bowl, combing: cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, coconut oil, nuts and oats. Mix with spoon then evenly spread into center of pears.

  6. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

  7. Serve with fresh ice cream or vanilla yogurt.
