Pineapple BBQ Crockpot Chicken


Serving size:4-6 serving. 


  • 4 frozen chicken breasts

  • 1 medium purple or white onion (sliced)

  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)

  • 1 15oz can diced pineapples (drained)

  • 1 cup organic barbecue sauce of choice

  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)

  • 1 batch fresh cilantro (for garnishing)

  • 1 tsp granulate garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp salute seasoning or similar seasoning of choice


  1. Spray crockpot with non stick spray and turn heat to low.

  2. Lay frozen chicken breast on bottom of crockpot.

  3. Next, place remaining ingredients (except for cilantro!), spices, and sauces into crockpot.

  4. Set on low for 5-6 hours.

  5. Once done, remove chicken from crockpot and either shred with fork or cut into cubes.

  6. Place chicken back in crockpot and mix together with spoon. Let set on low for additional 10 minutes.

  7. Place chicken mixture in serving dish and top with fresh cilantro.

  8. Serve over brown rice.
