Kid-Friendly Pesto Pasta Salad


  • 1 lb organic or whole wheat spiral pasta

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes or regular tomatoes

  • 1 cup diced cucumber

  • 1/4 cup diced white or yellow onion

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/8 cup olive oil

  • 1/8 cup store bought pesto sauce

  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing

  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic

  • Salt + Pepper to taste


  1. Cook and drain pasta according to package. Rinse with cold water and set aside.

  2. Next, make sure you’ve washed and cut the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Place all veggies into medium sized serving bowl, then pour pasta on top.

  3. Next, add: basil leaves, cheese, olive oil, pesto, garlic, and salt/pepper.

  4. Mix with serving spoons and cover with saran wrap.

  5. Let chill in fridge for 1 hour.

  6. Serve!
