Healthy Pita Bread Pizza

Healthy Pita Bread Pizza (Optional Burger/Chicken option!)


  • 1 whole wheat pita bread (optional substitution: whole wheat tortilla)

  • 1/2 cup organic marinara sauce or pesto

  • 1/2 cup blended (white/yellow) cheese

  • 1/4 cup sliced bell-peppers (raw or sautéed)

  • 1/4 cup sliced raw spinach

  • 1/4 cup sautéed mushrooms

  • 1/4 cup sautéed onions

  • 1/2 cup ground hamburger meat or chicken breast


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and place pita bread/tortilla on top of paper

  3. Smooth marinara sauce and/or pesto over pita bread/tortilla

  4. Layer all ingredients and bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly!

  5. Serve with fresh salad and sparkling water!
