Healthy Crockpot Apple Butter
HEALTHY CROCKPOT APPLE BUTTER
3 large honey crisp apples (cut and cored) *note: leave the outside skin on!
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 large lemon (juiced)
1 teaspoon organic maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cloves
3 whole cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Place all ingredients into crockpot.
Cook on high for 7 hours.
Spoon apples only into high powered blender or food processor.
Blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth.
Spoon into mason jars for storage.
Serve over: toast, ice cream, yogurt, or eat plain!
