This week's featured family smoothie is our Banana Peach Blend!

Smoothies are an excellent way to consume vegetables, fruits, liquids, and other nutritionally dense foods in a delicious and rather fast manner.

-Start with the softest ingredients on the bottom (closest to the blade), then add the remainder of the ingredients.

-Fill smoothie with liquid (water, milk, juice) just above top layer.

-Pulse blender (with all ingredients) x10 before blending on full speed.

- For a creamier smoothie, switch out frozen ice for frozen bananas or frozen strawberries.

Now let's spring into action, mamas! This smoothie is toddler and husband approve and is packed full of nutrition (which is a TOTAL win).

Banana Peach Smoothie 

-1 banana

-1 cup frozen peaches

-1 cup ice -2 cups spinach

-2 cups vanilla almond milk

-2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

-1 scoop vanilla protein powder (*Optional) 

Preferred Blenders: Blendec,Vitamix Complimentary toppings: shredded coconut, raspberries, chia seeds
