Lightened Up Buffalo Chicken Dip

Serving size: 4-5


  • 2 8oz chicken breasts (whole) 

  • ½ heaping cup organic cream cheese 

  • 1 heaping cup plain Greek yogurt 

  • 3 tsp Frank’s Hot Sauce (or hot sauce of choice! *Note: for a spicer dish, just add more hot sauce!) 

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mixed blend cheese 

  • ¼ cup chopped white or yellow onion 

  • ½  cup chopped green onion 

  • ¼ tsp salt 

  • ¼ tsp pepper 

  • ½ tsp multi-purpose seasoning 

  • ½ tsp granulated garlic 

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil 


  1. In a large frying pan, turn heat to medium-low and add olive oil and chicken breasts. 

  2. Cook for ~12 minutes on each side (flipping frequently) or until done. Once done, turn stove temperature off. 

  3. Remove chicken from pan and transfer to cutting board. Using two forks, pull chicken to shred and add back to pan. 

  4. Turn heat back to low-medium and add yellow onion, green onion, salt, pepper, multi-purpose seasoning, and garlic. Saute on low-medium heat until onions are tender, then add remaining ingredients: cream cheese, Greek yogurt, hot sauce and cheese. 

  5. Stir mixture (on low-medium heat) frequently with wooden spoon or spatula until all cheese has melted and mixture is bubbling. 

  6. Next, turn oven to low broil. 

  7. Spray baking dish with non-stick spray and transfer cheese mixture to dish. Optional: add additional shredded cheese for topping! 

  8. Let dish broil for 3 minutes. 

  9. Serve! 

  10. Keep stored in airtight container in refrigerator.
