Serving Size: 4 burgers
1 lb ground beef
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp kosher or pink himilayan salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 large avocado
1 large red tomato
¼ cup sliced red onion
8 (large leaf) Romaine lettuce
½ cup sliced dill or bread + butter pickles
Preheat grill or stove to medium heat.
In a medium sized bowl, combine: ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands and form into patties.
Spray grill or stove with non-stick spray and “grill/fry” patties over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until done.
Next, peel and mash avocado in a medium size bowl. Slice tomatoes and onion, and wash lettuce.
Once burgers are done, use lettuce as “bun” and layer: burger, avocado, tomato, onion, and pickle.
Feel free to top with additional sauces including: organic mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard!
