Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread

Serving Size: ~6-8 pieces


  • 2 large bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup organic maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder or chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  2. In medium bowl, mash banana with fork, then add: eggs, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil. Mix with whisk until well blended.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine: flour, brown sugar, cocoa or protein powder, oats, salt and baking soda.

  4. Slowly add dry ingredients into wet, stirring frequently until well blended.

  5. Spray standard bread loaf pan with non-stick spray, then pour batter in.

  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Let set for 20 minutes before serving.
