Instant Pot Black Bean Soup {Vegan}


Serving Size: 6-8 bowls


1 cup dry black beans

1 cup dry red beans

4 cups water

1 Tbsp better than bullion beef broth

2 tsp granulated garlic powder

2 tsp cumin

1 large carrot (diced)

½ cup chopped onion

½ green pepper (chopped)

2 bay leaf

Salt + Pepper to taste


  1. Place all ingredients in instant pot.

  2. Push “bean/chili” option and manually set timer for 45 minutes on high pressure.

  3. Relax!

  4. When your timer goes off, carefully turn nozzle to release steam.

  5. Serve with fresh avocado, tomato, cheese, and sour cream.
