Dairy-Free Salted Caramel Mocha
Serving Size: 1
2 shots espresso or 8 oz drip coffee
1 cup plain or vanilla almond milk
½ tsp organic cocoa powder
1 tsp organic maple syrup
Optional: whipped cream + caramel drizzle + pink himalyan sea salt (this isn’t required and there is no measurement… it’s mainly to make your drink look and taste a little fancier :))
In a small saucepan add: almond milk, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. Turn heat to low-medium and stir frequently with spatula until milk is warm and chocolate powder is dissolved. (Approx 3-5 minutes. Note, if you have a steamer, add all ingredients into your steamer and steam until warm.)
Next, make espresso or coffee.
Pour milk into cup and add coffee.
Top with optional whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a pinch of salt
