Throw a FLAWLESS Mom Brunch - Blossoming Mommy + Baby Style

Mommas, today’s blog gets me all SORTS of giddy and excited for you!! We are coming at you with a How-To on throwing THE BEST Blossoming Mommy + Baby Style Brunch that is equal parts decadent and healthy, while fun and effortless (with as much avocado toast that your heart desires)!

Girlfriend, you and I both know that every now and then momma needs a day OUT!

So here's your chance to switch it up from your normal, yet GLORIOUS, strolls down target aisles to a fun get together with your best girls, and maybe even some new neighbors to have an adult version of the sleepovers we loved growing up! GIMMMMMME ALL THAT BRUNCH! #Hallelujah

Your fun and effortless brunch awaits! Here's what you need:

First thing’s first, decide on your decor/style! Not sure? First time hosting? Keep it simple!

  • Flowers: Cut fresh flowers and store in beautiful vases or mason jars. If you’re feeling extra fancy, fill clear, large vases with flowers and add in fresh fruit to the water. You’ve now got BEAUTIFUL centerpieces!

  • Signs: The dollar bin at target always has cute frames or chalkboard signs that you can use with dry-erase markers, chalk, or print out signs to place in them and label your food + drinks.

  • Extras: Throwing in adorable inexpensive tablecloths and placemats can really bring your whole theme together. If you’re really feeling creative grab some used scrapbook paper and ribbon around your house and use it to decorate in the details! P.S. – I LUHHVE kits like this one and they are totally reusable for other types of parties and events too!

Once you know your theme, you can create your menu around just that! If that doesn’t sound up your alley, try and offer several options in both the breakfast and lunch category that can satisfy your guests’ sweet and/or savory preferences. Remember, we want this to be low-level stress and high-level FUN for you, momma, so as you create your menu, think about the dishes that you can make in advance of the party (P.S. Most of these you can make ahead – got you girl!)

If you plan to serve alcohol, make sure to also offer non-alcoholic beverages for those who may not want to drink. Here are some drink menu ideas that you can use to mix and match what you and your best gals like best!

Be sure to make one of your food menu items and drink menu items a “build your own style”~ everyone loves interactive food! Whether it’s a breakfast burrito bar, mac n cheese bar, sangria bar, or mimosa bar….you can’t go wrong!

Lastly, take some photos and remember to enjoy the company. These women and friendships are for love and laughter– so be present and enjoy!
