Scriptures for the Weary

Hi sweet friend! We spend a lot of time showing you ladies how to be joyful and resilient when facing the challenges of life. Both Grounded and Glowing and our Pregnancy Prep program were intentionally designed to help women overcome exhaustion, debilitating anxiety and perpetual overwhelm so they are ready to embrace the ups and downs of life with a grateful heart.

If you find the holiday season causes more stress, grief or sadness than relaxation, joy and hope we want you to know that you do not have to suffer alone and in silence. There is so much hope, encouragement and relief in the Word. So we want to share 10 of our favorite scriptures for the weary.

Matthew 11:28-29 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Psalm 62:1 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Jeremiah 31:25 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.

Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Exodus 33:14 The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.”

Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
