How To Make Homemade Baby Food In 3 Simple Steps!

No fancy equipment, machines, or flavors required! Blossoming Mommy +Baby Students, this "how-to" blog will pair gorgeously with your postnatal segment! Remember, before you introduce food to your baby, always consult with your physician beforehand. 

How To Make Homemade Baby Food in 3 Simple Steps! 

Step 1: Select Your Tools To Blend! 

  1. Blender

  2. Food Processor

  3. Hand Mixer

Step 2: Pick Your Foods!

  1. Sweet Potatoes

  2. Yams

  3. Avocado

  4. Peas

  5. Carrots

  6. Apples

  7. Banana

  8. Squash

  9. And More!

Remember, this is to your preference. Food selections will depend on the age of your baby. Always talk with your doctor before introducing foods or beginning ANY type of eating.* 

Step 3: Steam+ Store! 

  1. Pick your food and cut into small cubes.

  2. Steam on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until tender.

  3. Once fruit (or vegetable) is tender, remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes.

  4. Transition food from pan to blender of choice. Pulse, then blend on high until pureed.

  5. If needed, feel free to add a splash of liquid (water) while blending.

  6. Evenly transfer and store:
