Healthy Apple Fruit Sliders For Kids

2 large apples
1/2 cup almond butter (or cashew butter!)
healthy toppings of choice
Core and slice apples into circular pieces
Layer with nut butter
Top with favorite toppings
Drizzle with honey (optional!)
This recipe is SO simple, Moms! Get creative with your toppings and let your kiddos help make "their" snacks in the kitchen! This is teaching them many skills, from following directions, making healthy choices, sharing, bilateral coordination, crossing of midline and more.
