DIY Natural Sore Muscle Rub

Below you'll find a great, natural rub for tight + sore muscles that can be created right out of your kitchen! Best part? You'll know exactly what's going on your skin (the largest organ in the body)! Remember, it's important to understand that what you put ON your body will get absorbed INTO your body, making natural, healthy products an absolute must for both you and your family!


DIY Natural Sore Muscle Rub 


-1/2 cup coconut oil 

-1/4 cup beeswax 

-2 T almond oil 

-1 T Shea butter 

-10 drops pure eucalyptus essential oil 

-10 drops pure lavender essential oil 

-10 drops pure peppermint essential oil 

-1/4 tsp ground ginger (optional)

-Airtight, non BPA container for storage


  1. In a medium sized sauce pan, combine coconut oil, beeswax, almond oil, and Shea butter. With low/med heat, gently heat all ingredients until well combined and completely melted.

  2. Remove mixture from heat and add all essential oils and ginger.

  3. Let cool and store in airtight, non BPA container.

  4. Rub a small amount and massage on achy muscles.
