It’s really easy for us as modern Mommas to get caught up in well… you know, life, diaper blow outs, soccer practice, laundry, meal prep…. shall I go on?? The journey of motherhood is one that often sweeps up SO many of us Moms to the point where she has completely lost herself. Is this you? If so, you’re in for a treat today!

Don’t lose yourself in Momma-hood, sweet friend! You need to be feeling your best to function at your best and should NEVER apologize for that! Prioritizing your health and happiness should be at your forefront. 6 Intentional Living Tips That Will TRANSFORM YOUR Motherhood

Prioritize Your GLOW

  • You probably hear this tip ALL THE TIME. Workout. Eat well. Sleep. Stress less….. it’s like the basic foundation of healthy living, right? But really, Momma… how many of you are actually APPLYING these practices to YOUR life? In order to truly tap into that beautiful, radiant GLOW that lies within you, YOU MUST take time to nurture it. Feed your body with incredible, nourishing foods (all of our recipes here at BMAB count!),learn that working out is NOT a chore, but rather an incredible blessing. Do so to honor your body, not punish it. Drink more water. Let things go. SLEEEEEP!! It’s vital that you prioritize these healthy habits in order to be the BEST mama you can BE! (The Blossom After Baby Program is a GREAT place to begin!) Remember, it doesn’t have to be huge life changes at first. Small, baby steps. That’s where you need to begin!

Watch for time (and life) suckers

  • AHH! This tip, Mommas! It’s going to ROCK YOUR WORLD. Tell me… how much time a day do you spend….

    • Checking in on social media

    • Scrolling on social media

    • Procrastination

    • Never ending to-do lists

    • Multi-tasking (everything)

I’m going to end our list there because it’s literally stressing me out typing this for you. Gals, hear me when I say… you HAVE to get a handle on your time and life suckers. I bet the majority of you (I mean this in the most LOVING way possible!) are wasting HOURS each and every week and you don’t even realize it! Life giving activities like getting your kiddos busy in the kitchen or going for a hike with your family are MUCH better ways to cultivate your time and energy.  SO….. Relax. DON’T check your email again for the 100th time. Stop obsessing. Social media will be there TOMORROW. Your worth does not come from how many likes a photo got. I’m going to go on a rabbit hole here you guys, so let’s end this topic before I go on a #Jennipreach moment!

  • Next up! Burnout. We try to do so, so, so much and while I admire this, I’m also a realist in that our body and mind cannot DO EVERYTHING. I love this quote by David Allen that states “You can do anything but not everything”. How true is that! So, prioritize. Do the essentials. (PS.. if you need a new book, Essentialism is SOOOOOOO GOOD!) Everything else can wait. Mommy burnout is real. Wouldn’t you rather feel refreshed and recharged instead of haggard and frazzled everyday? It’s okay to slow down. You’ll never get these years back, Momma.

Indulge a little

  • Repeat after me… “I will NOT feel guilty for indulging in what I want and need!” So… go for it! Have a glass of wine, a piece of chocolate, a bubble bath with freshly loaded (organic ) bath bombs and your latest read. Go get a pedi and mani, a massage, a long run. Whatever you need (I need all of those!) DO IT. Ya can’t pour from an empty cup. ALL of my students inside Grounded and Glowing KNOW THIS! Take care of you, boo. When you do, you’ll be able to better serve those that you love.

Learn to say NO

  • As a culture, we’re addicted to saying YES. We’ve got the FOMO bug (Fear Of Missing Out) and we think everyone around is, including the Moms on instagram and our neighborhood are going to get it all before we do… y’all.. that’s CRAZY TALK. Chill, sis. You don’t have to be everywhere all the time. You don’t have to volunteer again for the PTSA meeting (unless you want to). You don’t have to spend every waking minute of your day doing stuff if it doesn’t best serve you or your family. Hear me when I say. When you say YES to someone or something, you are saying NO to time with your family. You decide what’s most important. And if you need help in this area, I highly suggest learning more about the Blossom After Baby Postnatal Program HERE!! I teach ya ALL of this!

Know who YOU are

  • Finally, know who you are and what you are called to do. God has given you a unique purpose. FIND IT! Don’t worry about what other people may think or say. So often I see so many Moms afraid to tap into her abundant life because of the fear of rejection or judgement. STOP IT! Live your LIFE! Chase after your dreams and teach your kiddos to do the same! You have the power to fill your soul and align it with God’s purpose for your life. Will you do it? Will you take time each day to connect with Him through daily Bible reading and prayer? There’s no use in comparing your life to others because that’s not YOUR story. Live true to you, babe. You’ll be the happiest and healthiest.. and that’s what it truly means to live as a Blossoming Mommy and Baby woman!

Okay, Mommas! There you have it! Which tips are your favorite? Do you have more to add to the list?? Let me know your thoughts over on iTunes (are you subscribed to the show?) And make sure we’re connected  over on INSTAGRAM!
