Vegan Hummus Spread


Ingredients:

  • 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (rinsed and drained)

  • 1/2 lemon juice (juice squeezed from fresh lemon)

  • 1 T graduated garlic

  • 1 T parsley flakes (dried)

  • 3 T Tahini

  • 1/4 c water

  • 3 T olive oil

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp Mexican powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: 

  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor.

  2. Pulse for 15 seconds, then blend on high for 2 minutes or until well blended.

  3. Spoon into serving bowl.

  4. Let chill in fridge for 1 hour.
