Healthy Pesto Pasta (Gluten Free) 


-2 cups brocoli florets

-1/2 medium onion

-1 T minced garlic

-1/2 avocado

-1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

-1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

-1/2 cup almond milk -salt + pepper to taste

-1 box gluten free pasta


  1. Cook pasta as directed on box. Set aside.

  2. In a medium size sauce pan, sauce broccoli, onion, garlic, salt/pepper until soft

  3. Add broccoli mixture to food processor (or blender).

  4. Gently pour in: avocado, basil leaves, parmesan, and milk into broccoli mixture.

  5. Pulse, then blend on high or until well mixed.

  6. Pour over cooked pasta.

  7. Top with red pepper if desired!
