Healthiest Detox Salad 

Ingredients: 

Salad base: 

  • 8 cups romaine lettuce

  • 2 cups chopped kale

  • 2 large carrots (spiralized or diced)

  • 1 large cucumber (sliced)

  • 1/2 cup shaved brussel sprouts

  • 1 tomato (sliced)

  • 1/2 cup broccoli (sliced)

  • 1/2 cup celery

  • 1/4 cup onion (chopped)

  • 1 avocado (sliced)

Detox dressing: 

  • 1/4 cup organic olive oil

  • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)

  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Prepare salad as directed and place in large salad bowl.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine all ingredients for salad dressing. Whisk together and set aside for 20 minutes to let flavors marinate.

  3. Pour over salad mixture.

  4. Serve with fresh croutons or dry roasted sesame seeds.
