Hawaiian Chicken Sesame Bowls

Hawaiian Chicken Sesame Bowls


  • 3 large chicken breasts (cooked)

    • *I will typically cook my chicken breasts in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and granulated garlic. 

  • 4 cups cooked rice

  • 1 bell pepper (color of choice) sliced

  • 1 medium onion diced

  • 1 cup sliced green zucchini

  • 2 cups chopped broccoli

  • 2 large carrots (chopped)

  • 1 cup cabbage

  • 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced

  • 1 small bok choy

  • 1 tsp granulated garlic

  • 4 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 2 tbsp liquid aminos or soy sauce

  • Salt + Pepper to taste


  1. Cook rice according to package

  2. In large frying pan, add 2 tbsp of olive oil and granulated garlic. Simmer on medium heat for 2 minutes.

  3. Next, to olive oil mixture, add all vegetables

  4. Also to vegetable mixture, add: sesame oil, liquid aminos, sesame seeds, and salt/pepper to taste.

  5. Sauté over medium heat until all vegetables are tender. Then turn heat down to low.

  6. Let simmer, stirring occasionally

  7. Slice cooked chicken.

  8. Serve vegetables and chicken over rice.

  9. Optional add on: fresh or canned pineapple!
