DIY (No Sew) Scented Heating Pad For Pain Relief #TherapyMoment

Whether you have a sore muscle or an achy back, this simple recipe is SO easy and can be made in the comfort of your own home in less than 10 minutes. No sewing machine required :)

Ingredients: 

  • 1 large sock

  • Hair tie or thread

  • Rice

  • Funnel

  • Lavender essential oil

Directions: 

  1. First, make sure the sock is clean. Place funnel at opening of sock and pour rice into sock until sock is just over 3/4 of the way full.

  2. Secure top of sock with with hair tie or thread.

  3. Sprinkle essential oil, covering entire surface of sock.

  4. When ready to use, simply heat sock in microwave for 90 seconds. (Make sure this isn't too hot for you prior top placing the sock on your skin).

  5. Place sock over your ache/pain and let the heat work its way into your muscles!
