Sinus + Congestion Mug Steamer

 (Disclaimer: not all essential oils are created equal. I personally use DOTERRA or YOUNG LIVING. Make sure your oils are pure and always consult with your doctor before use of oils. Should you decide this remedy is safe for your child, be sure to consult with your doctor before.)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water 

  • 3 drops peppermint essential oil 

  • 3 drops oregano essential oil 

  • 3 drops eucalyptus essential oil 

  • 3 drops lemon essential oil 


Directions:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to boil on stove or microwave. 

  2. Once water is boiling, remove from heat and transfer to a glass bowl or large mug. 

  3. Next, add essential oils. 

  4. Gently place dish towel over head to create a tent so little steam escapes. Be sure to test temperature of steam to ensure it’s not too hot for your face. 

  5. Next, gently inhale steam in through your nose and exhale through your mouth for 2-5 minutes. 

  6. Blow nose after :-)
