Refined Sugar Free Applesauce (Crockpot!)


 Serving size: ~2 cup apple sauce


  • 4 large fuji apples

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp freshly squeeze lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp water


  1. Plug crockpot in and set to high.

  2. Wash, core, and peel apples. Cut into bite size pieces and place in crockpot.

  3. Next, add remaining ingredients into crockpot and close lid.

  4. Let cook for 3-4 hours or until apple are tender.

  5. Transfer apples and sauce to high powered blender of food processor and pulse until desired consistency of apple sauce is achieved! Some kids prefer chunky while others enjoy puree!
